Sam is the Chief Sub-editor and Commissioning Co-ordinator at gents’ monthly FRONT, having graduated from Cardiff University in 2006 (BA Journalism, Film and Broadcasting), and from Highbury College’s PTC Pre-Entry Magazine Journalism Diploma in March 2007. He is also a freelance writer, having worked for a variety of publications, including (more recently) PlayMusic, DVD Review, Record Collector, Real People and Liverpool FC blog Liverpool Pies

He has also previously freelanced as a sub-editor on magazines such as Q, Kerrang!, Record Collector and Real People, as well as undertaking editorial internships on a variety of national, regional and student publications.

He is the former music editor at Quench magazine, where he won individual and collective awards.

In his spare time, Sam is a football enthusiast, travelling across Europe following international and domestic matches. He is also rather fond on lots of musical things, and likes to relax by not worrying about spelling and grammar.

Sam currently lives in NW6, and works in London’s Angel.

Sam is very, very sorry he hasn’t updated this in ages. He’s been a bit hectic, you see. But he will, he promises, sort it out soon. Double promise.
